Eleanor yesterday. (:
Eleanor was pretty funny yesterday. When we got home I had both of my hands full and even had Eleanor carrying a can of beans for me that I dropped, and when I got inside with Eleanor, I put everything down and I closed and locked the door. Then Eleanor pointed at the doorknob and said, “Mama! Keys!” So I unlocked and opened up the door, and sure enough, the keys were still hanging from the knob on the outside. Thank goodness I have a 2 year old to keep my head on straight, huh?
Then much later I was sitting on the floor after having just re-diapered a little girl who attempted a trip to the potty, and she bounces up and says, “See, Mama!” (which means "Come see, Mama!") and I told her not right now, and she saw that my face was a bit drawn and she asked, “What’s wrong?” and I said, “Mommy’s just sleepy, that’s all.” Then she said, “Be right back.” Then she ran off to her room and comes back with her pillow and her blanket an proceeds to make a bed for me on the couch. So I lied down on the couch and then she brought me her bear and mouse. So I invited her on the couch too and we just snuggled for a while. It was so nice and so sweet. *Sigh*
Oh, and here's what I look like these days.. when I'm in my comfy, but oh so pink fleece pajamas I got for Christmas.
10 weeks to go!

She's THAT child! The one who remembers birthdays and helps you put your feet up! Remember when you said you were worried you couldn't raise the oldest child?? That's Eleanor!!! What a wonderful story!
I can't believe you're going to have another one soon. And when I see those pictures of you, you still look to me the way you did when I met you when I was 5! But you're a mommy and more again! I miss you guys. Hug from Amy. :o)
Sounds like you've done a great job with the first kid. Now the count down to may begins.
Thanks for the updates.
You'll get there!
That reminds me of when Corey and I were visiting Katie and Andy, and Caitlin asks through pacifier in her mouth "Tired?" I nod yes and she pulls out the pacifier and hands it to me.
You guys have the best kid ever! I can only hope that when I have a child he/she has half as much awesomeness as Eleanor.
