It's ma birfday!

Yep, it is. So we decided to celebrate this weekend by having the flu together as a family.. in the hospital. I got it on Monday, Nathan got it on Wednesday, and then (oh the sadness) Eleanor got it on Friday. Though, since Eleanor's a baby and all, she got REALLY sick REALLY fast and had a 104 degree fever by the time she saw the doctor. She tested positive for the flu and RSV, another respiratory virus. So he sent her to the hospital just in case things got worse she could be monitored closely. She kept a fever for about a day and a half, and was miserable miserable. She barely moved, never smiled, and didn't make much noise except to complain. When the nurses were trying to give her an IV she told them what for in the form of disgruntled raspberries. They thought that was funny and cute. So she told them what for again. Thpbth!

But then when the fever broke Saturday she was active and happy again. That was such a relief to see. So Sunday (today) we were discharged for my birthday! Yay! Also for my birthday, Ellie learned a new babble that sounds remarkably like Mama. In fact it is Mama, but I don't think she's speaking English just yet. Here's some disgruntled raspberries, a very quick tongue (at around second 20), and the proof of my birthday present, even if she is a little mad. Sorry Ellie. (We don't torture her like this often, I swear!)
