"Eleanors don't have good Mondays."

That was what her daily report said today. It said that her mood was fretful, she didn't eat well in the morning, she didn't want to sleep in the bed, and in the space for notes it said, "Eleanors don't have good Mondays." I think that says it all.

Daycare and such

Well, Eleanor is 7 weeks old now. She's been going to daycare for about a week and she's starting to adjust. We both are. They send home these little daily reports that say how she slept and ate and pooped and how her mood was in general, and then there was a little notes section. Of course she started off fretful because this was all new to her and everything they did was different. Then one day the notes said Eleanor screamed and screamed today, and I just knew I was a terrible mother for dropping her off every day at a place she hates. But then both reports since then have been really good, so I think we're going to be okay. She's smiling more regularly now, and just paying more attention in general, which is really nice. Night before last she shocked us by going to be early (11:00) and then sleeping through the night! (until 5:00) She had never gone that long without waking up to eat and you know what? I could really get used to it! But of course last night she wasn't so helpful. (:

Nathan's feeling much better since his car accident. It's still really scary to think about how that could have turned out. I thought the van was bad, but this was really close. (If you hadn't heard about this check out his blog. (kelandrian.blogspot.com) He's getting new glasses today since he lost his in the car. I've been wanting him to do that for a while anyway, so I'm kind of excited about it.

That's all I got. Here's some pictures.
