My baby.

You know what's an incredible feeling? When your 1 month old falls sound asleep on your chest while you watch TV. I think that's my new favorite kind of peaceful. Now if only she could sleep in her crib.

Did Nathan fall asleep holding onto the other pillow like that?

Also, I am very entertained by the look on Eleanor's face in the second picture.

We don't know when Nathan grabbed the pillow. We thought it was kinda odd too.

I completely agree with the sleeping on the chest kinda peaceful thought. Completely,... I've enjoyed that sleeping baby pose on several occasions.

She reminds me of someone in your family. I haven't figured out who it is yet.

OMG..I was going to say the same thing..she does have that family resemblance. We'll just have to wait until she gets bigger to figure it out. What fun!!

It's Been One Week

As of 5:33 this morning, Eleanor is one week old. Sorry it took me so long to mention it, and for those of you I haven't called and really should have, sorry about that too. She has really been keeping me hopping! Here are some pics!

Ain't she a beaut? Came in at 6 lbs 11 oz; 18 inches long.

We love her so much!

What a sweetie! It seems like at least once a year I know several people who have babies. It's like someone telling me something. My friend from high school just had her little girl in the past week as well.

RYN: It gets substantially better every week after two weeks. Just keep going. After six weeks it's almost always easy for most people. If you have any problems call your local La Leche League leader. They'll come over and help you.
Your local leader is in Shreveport and you can reach her at 742-MILK.
