Fridays, I like 'em.
Well, I'm at home. The computers are down at work for the second day in a row, so I took off and told the boss to call if they came up. Stupid computers. It's Friday. Nathan has off, and normally would be taking care of Eleanor, but she's at daycare so he can concentrate on CLEANING, because my parents are coming up this weekend. So now I can help, and the house will be cleaner, faster and I won't be wasting a day in a coworker's office shooting the breeze like yesterday.
Eleanor coos. I LOVE it. She's getting pretty vocal and it's so great to hear. She's growing so fast! She makes me so happy. With any luck we can get the house clean extra early and then go get Ellie from daycare.
I hate daycare. They're nice and I don't think they're doing anything wrong. It's just that Ellie's been cranky there lately and I hate that. She's not the center of their world, she's one of ten babies. I went there the other day and she was swinging in the corner wimpering in a room full of noisy babies and her diaper had leaked through to her pants. It wasn't a big deal. She gets cranky sometimes and she wasn't out and out crying. And if they didn't change her diaper regularly we'd see more diaper rashes, and we don't so I know it probably just happened and would have been taken care of if I had just come a minute later. But still the image of my sad little girl crying in a corner with wet pants is just depressing. I'm ready to win the lottery now, so we don't have to do the stupid daycare thing. Sometimes she's really happy there. If she's happy there then it's okay and I don't fret, just lately that hasn't been the case so much. She was smiling when I left her today, so lets hope she keeps that up.
Anyway, here are some pictures. That's the nuisance onsie I've been waiting to see her in since before her conception (Thank you Daisy!), and that's a dress a coworker of mine made for her.

Hope you get to spend all the time you want with your family. Any idea if you'll be in Lafayette for Thanksgiving?
Was thinking it would be good to see you while we were in town. Thinking maybe sometime Friday.
OMG..she's adorable!! I can see the family resemblance :o)
I'm glad you're going to get to spend time with your parents. Please say hi to them for me! My sis is on her way to see me now, and stuck in traffic!
