Okay, apparently the deal is that Nathan needs to install a driver for the scanner. Not that this is difficult, it's just difficult to get around to it. The pictures are coming, there may be more ultrasound pictures, or a baby by then, but we are working on it.
I have a symptom that nobody told me about. I didn't read about it anywhere, and nobody else remembers having this symptom when they were pregnant, but everyone agrees that it kinda makes sense. My hips and my lower spine don't fit right anymore. The joints all just feel out of sorts. At first it was just the hips, then I aggravated one of them by trying to fix the mud puddle that is our driveway and I couldn't walk for a couple of hours after that. So I've been taking it easy, but the more I walk the more sensitive they are. It was a few days later that my lower spine started acting up. Now that is sensitive when I walk too (or bend over, or lay down wrong). It's like my pelvic bone is trying to find a new position without consulting the rest of my skeleton first. No big baby belly yet, but this joint business is already making me waddle. Or limp.
I've officially decided that this isn't just fat, I'm actually kinda showing. A little. If you just look at me you can't really tell. But my stomach seemed a tad larger than what I'm used to, so I tested it. Shortly after the morning sickness started I went and bought maternity pants because the pressure of the waistband from my regular pants made me a little ill. So I've been wearing those ever since. My work pants, the last time I wore them fit just so. in fact I had a little room in them. So I tried them on today and, uh, let's just say I'd NEVER wear them in public like that. I had a huge roll where my gut goes and I had some spill-over at the top. Yeah, mostly I look like I put on a few pounds. Though strangely my scale doesn't seem to think I have.
I go to the doctor tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have more fun things to post about.

Hey, congrats!! My sister told me a few weeks ago..I'd been meaning to come by and send you happy thoughts. I'm so excited for you both!! Your parents must be thrilled to death as well.
The hormones released durring pregnancy cause the ligaments in your body to become softer and looser. This way your pelvis can get all nice and stretchy so it can expand durring birth and the baby can get out no problem.
Try not to agrivate it though, because it's easier to throw out your back or hips for that reason too.
