There's no stopping her now!

Well, Ellie has expanded her boundaries. I'd say last week she was still doing that funny inchworm crawl that requires her to use her tummy as an in between step. Now she crawls like a pro. Not only that, but the day before yesterday she would only occasionally leave the living room and go in the kitchen, but no further. Yesterday she started apprehensively crossing more thresholds. She would do it, but they seemed to make her nervous. Today she doesn't even notice them. She'll go from one room to the next, from carpet to wood to outside (we're watching, don't worry) and back in. She even came into the shower with me. That was pretty funny. She got her clothes soaked! And she shakes her head "no" when she doesn't want to eat something. Not that jerk to the side to move her mouth out of the way, but an evenly paced side-to-side "No."

In other news, Nathan experimented with cooking today. He sauteed yellow squash, corn, and pear together. It was surprisingly good.

Oh, and my family was not at all affected by the train wreck that leaked hydrochloric acid everywhere. But one of Nathan's best friends had to evacuate because of the fumes. She's fine though.
