Playin Hookie

Well, we just spent another weekend in Jackson with all the Hop Ki Do people. This was our first year as actual members of the USKMAF (United States Korean Matrial Arts Federation). I gotta say they are good people. I think maybe next year I might participate. Maybe.

I took a sick day off of work today 'cause I don't feel so good. Nathan doesn't either, but he doesn't get sick days. Bleh. Mom, I think, is feeling worse than both of us put together twice, and it's her birthday! My poor Mommy. I like that I get sick days. Even with all that time I'm taking off to go to New Hampshire, it doesn't touch my sick days, so I still have them all to myself. (:

I talked to my Amy and my Kelley today on the Google chat program. I forget how much I suck at typing to two people at once. It was great to hear from both of them though.

I thisk this is all the Wal-phed (Walgreens Pseudoephedrine) will let me say today, so have a good one and be healthy!

Aren't sick days great? I haven't used any yet, since I get a $500 bonus at the end of the year if I have perfect attendance, but I like knowing that if I really need them, they are there.

I hope you guys feel better soon. We both go back to work Wednesday.

I TOLD you guys to shake your wrists out first! Some people never learn. :)

Oh yeah, and it is Hapkido, not Hopkido.

Bridget m'dear, I'm sorry you're feeling ill, and I hope you and Nathan both feel better the sooner. Meantime, I talked to your Kelley today too, and invited her to a future dinner or coffee or some such {that door's still open for you, ya know! ;-)} Meantime, though, Cheramie gave me news that Natchitoches is starting to have problems with gangs? There was something about a young woman being followed from a night class by four men; who is frightened enough that she has transferred to LSUE for a semester? Rumors, I realize; but give me good news and keep yourselves safe, hm?
